Hello, Swim Families!

As promised, I have more information about the Championship Meet to share. If I miss anything, all information is available on the ASA Championship Page.

Our Session is on Thursday (6/27) Morning at 9:30. I am attaching diagrams of the seating and deck traffic flow. We are allowed to enter the building at 8:30.

Meeting Point - The team needs to meet outside the FRONT entrance to the Campus Recreation Center on Ferst Drive at 8:30. We have to go in as a team. If you are late you will not be allowed in until a coach from the team comes to get you. Please be on time! 

Once you enter the building, please go directly to our team area. Please wait in our team area until our team is called to the deck for our warmup session. Our team area will be on the deck seating this year. Only swimmers and adults with credentials will be allowed on the deck. We prefer parents of 6U swimmers to be with their kids, and credentials will be supplied for this. Parents who are not volunteering or do not have credentials need to sit in the spectator stands.

Team seating area: On Deck Bleacher F (Please go directly to this area once you enter the Rec Center)

Warm-up: Our warm-up time is 9:00-9:15 in the - Girls Pool - Lanes 1-4

Order of Events: All relays will be first. After relays, the events will go in order, starting with 6U Freestyle. Boys and girls will swim simultaneously in different pools. See the diagram for the Boy's pool and Girls' pool. 

Parking: The W10 lot attached to the CRC will be available, as it is for all sessions. Please remember you MUST pre-purchase parking for this lot; you cannot pay at the gate. To purchase parking, please go to https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events to prepay for your parking. Overflow parking and parking for people who did not pre-purchase a spot will be in the W02 lot, this is the student center lot located at 355 Ferst Drive and is a short walk to the pool. This lot will only be in use on Thursday. For the Wednesday and Friday sessions parking will be in the W23 lot on State St. My strong advice is prepay for parking and park in the lot closest to the pool.

Volunteers: The Jobs will be updated today on our site. We need 3 workers for each half to help with Awards, Crowd Control and Runners.
